Kids Fort Child & Out Of School Care offers different child care programs in Fort Saskatchewan. Our mission is to help each child develop his/her physical, social, emotional, language, and intellectual skills through playful methods. We respect the individualism of each child that is validated by our early childhood development staff. By creating a safe and nurturing environment, we encourage children to learn through their play.
Our programs also include one multicultural group activity per day in which we teach the kids the basic things about life. The activities comprise developing social skills, going for library visits, volunteering to clean the local parks, and visiting senior homes and centres every Christmas. We initiate this to let the children know the importance of caring for one another.
At our child care centre, you can expect the following:
A qualified Montessori teacher visits our child care centre two times a week with programs in alphabetics and mathematics. Our teacher makes learning exciting and fun for children. We also have access to online Montessori programs that are available to your child at no additional cost.
Hygienic program — a health professional visits our centre twice a year to educate the children about the importance of health and cleanliness.
A librarian visits our child care centre once a month with various programs according to the age of the child.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks
In our child care centre, we provide a hot breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks daily. The menu designed for children is according to the Canada Food Guide Standards. If you require our detailed menu, contact us.
Our facility is a fully nut-and-scent aware facility. Due to allergies and in the interest of the children, we don’t use any nut-related snacks or food. We would also like to request you to refrain from sending foods that include nuts with your child so that we can completely adhere to the policy.
